Googles killing spree is catastrophic to their long term viability as a business. Who will EVER trust a business partner who considers your relationship so disposable that they would kill what your business depends upon "because it's just an experiment". Game studios and IOT businesses bet big on a bad partner and that's going to have long term consequences.

It doesn't matter how cool something might be if you can't depend on it. Google is quickly becoming the "Company who cried beta". And it's.not just companies that are impacted, consumers make plans based on Google's advancements too.

So don't be surprised if people don't rush out and adopt Google solutions in the future. I'd rather trust a player with less technical chops that I could rely on.
