Unfortunately they are wrong. Consumers have limits and in this economic state they are showing more purchasing constraint. Devices are getting fast enough where Apple will have to depend on more than just squeezing.

Does that mean they will be forced to merge the formats? No, but it does mean that "buy both" is not viable long term.
